Job Description:
1. Metal Fabrication: Fabricate and assemble metal components, structures, and products according to engineering drawings and project requirements.
2. Welding: Perform various welding processes to join metal parts and materials effectively.
3. Pipe Threading: Thread, assemble, and install pipes, tubes, and fixtures, ensuring proper alignment and secure connections.
4. Material Handling: Safely handle and move metal materials, including cutting, bending, and shaping as needed, using saws and other equipment.
5. Quality Control: Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.
6. Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering blueprints and drawings to execute fabrication accurately.
7. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on welding, fabrication, and cutting equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
8. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
9. Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a Welder and Metal Fabricator in a similar role.
· Proficiency in MIG welding techniques, TIG experience valued but not required.
· Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
· Familiarity with various metal types, thicknesses, and fabrication methods.
· Strong attention to detail and precision in metalwork.
· Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices.
· Pipe Welding or other certification(s) a plus.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
