Job description
Since 1970, Koester Corporation has been at the forefront of diversified manufacturing, bringing together expertise in electrical engineering, control panel construction, machining, fabrication, and machine building. We specialize in creating tailored solutions that span multiple disciplines, making us a trusted partner for complex, high-impact projects.
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Sales Associate who not only excels in sales but also has practical experience in machining or fabrication. If you’re a hands-on professional who knows the ins and outs of manufacturing and thrives in a dynamic, solutions-driven environment, this opportunity is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, with a focus on delivering practical, technically sound solutions that meet client needs.
-Leverage your machining or fabrication background to provide accurate estimates for material and labor costs, ensuring precise and competitive proposals.
-Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with clients, acting as their go-to resource for all project needs.
-Understand clients’ technical requirements and collaborate with them to develop customized solutions that meet or exceed their expectations.
-Work closely with internal teams, including purchasing and manufacturing, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For:
-Hands-on experience in machining or fabrication—someone who understands the technical details and speaks the language of manufacturing.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for managing quotes, project data, and client communications.
-Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to relate to both clients and internal teams.
-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
-Prior sales experience is a plus, especially in a technical or industrial setting.

At Koester Corporation, your technical knowledge will be valued as much as your sales expertise.
