Electrical Engineer Internship

Pay: $18 to $22/Hour

Koester Corporation’s engineering department works with a wide array of customers in many different industries including water, wastewater, aerospace, automotive, along with many others. An internship here will expose you to a wide range of controls equipment and software. With an internship there is also growth opportunities with many of our full time engineering  currently and formerly having started here as an part of our internship program.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university, Sophomore level or above.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills.
• Pursuing a degree in Engineering (Electrical is preferred, but we will also accept Computer Science)
• Good written and Verbal communications skills.
• Eligible to work in the US (No Sponsorships Available)
• AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical (Preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Work with experienced engineers on projects, this work may include electrical design, PLC programming, HMI programming, data or documentation gathering, or other engineering tasks.
• Engage with clients to understand their engineering needs and project specifications.
• Collaborate closely with the panel shop team to oversee the construction and testing of electrical control panels.
